Food Drive for the North End Food Bank

Food Drive for the North End Food Bank

Local 107.3FM is partnering with local music venue The Panic Room and NB punk band Neighbourhood Watch to host a food drive for the North End Food Bank. We have set up a donations box outside the doors of Local-FM (TJC Student Centre, room 235) where you can drop off non-perishable items or cash donations.

The food drive runs until December 17th when the Panic Room is hosting a six band punk rock benefit show. Food and cash donations can be dropped off at the door of the show as well. The North End Food Bank has been struggling a lot in the last year, so it would be great for the UNB community to show our support with some boxes of food donations.

There is a gig flyer attached and the event can also be found on Facebook as well : North End Food Bank Food Drive (Saint John)

If you have friends or family in Fredericton that you think would like to be involved, Neighbourhood Watch is also doing a food drive in Fredericton for the Fredericton Food Bank: Neighbourhood Watch Food Drive (Fredericton)

If you have any questions about the food drive please contact Stephanie Tierney at: stephanie@cfmh.ca
